The CBTopSites/ClickBank search tool is found by scrolling down the page once and locating it on the left. The tool is also displayed below this box so that you can easily use it from this customer service page, rather than returning to a site page to locate it.

This tool will display a set of digital information products (e-books, audio learning aids, video learning aids, software, online services, and membership subscription sites) when you enter a keyword, key phrase, or search term.

Ratings are displayed on the results, against each product. Not all products have ratings - these may be new products. The ratings are the set of filled or solid stars that are listed against a product. A top-rated product has five stars, an average product has three stars, and a poor product has one star. These ratings are done by customers. You can read customer reviews of a product by clicking the product’s reviews link on the page. Not all products have reviews, and even top-rated products may not have reviews.

To use this tool:

Enter your keyword, key phrase, or search term in the search box. The keyword, key phrase, or search term is a word or short phrase describing what you are looking for. For instance, if you are looking for information on bread, you can enter ‘bread’. If you want to buy a car, you can enter ‘buy a car’.
The default category is All Categories, meaning that you are going to search for your item in all the possible categories of products in the database. You may want to search only within a particular category. To do so, simply click the little box containing ‘All Categories’ and select the category in which you want to search.
Next, select how you want the search to be done. There are three options: All Words, Any Word, Exact Phrase. ‘All Words’ means that the title and description of a product must contain all the words in the key phrase for it to be selected and included in the search results. The words do not have to appear exactly as specified in the key phrase. This means that they can appear in a different order or separated from each other. ‘Any Word’ means that the title and description of a product must contain any of the words (in fact, at least one word) in the key phrase for it to be selected and included in the search results. ‘Exact Phrase’ means that that the title and description of the product must contain the exact phrase specified by the key phrase for it to be selected and included in the search results. This means that the order of the words must be preserved and they must appear next to each other (exactly as specified in the key phrase). The ‘Exact Phrase’ option is the most restrictive option. It generates the fewest pages, but these pages are extremely relevant or targeted. The ‘Any Word’ option is the least restrictive option. It generates the largest number of pages, and contains the largest number of irrelevant or untargeted pages. To select which option you want, simply click the little white circle next to the option you want.
Click Search. The search will be performed and the results displayed in the page, as search listings. You can select which page meets your needs, from the listings, in order to open the page. The page opens in a new window or tab. Once you’ve done that, you can return to the listings by clicking the window or tab title of the listings, in order to check out another page. You may want to first close the previous page’s window or tab before checking out a new page, unless you want to do comparison shopping. When you decide to buy a product, simply scroll down its (sales) page and click the Order or Add to Cart button or link, or whatever equivalent label the button/link has. ClickBank’s order page will open in a new window or tab. Fill in your details and submit. If you have problems, see our problem solving pages in this customer service unit.
If the keyword, key phrase, or search term that you entered is irrelevant to the database, no results listings will be displayed. Instead you’ll get a message indicating that no pages were found. In that case, you may use the search box at the top or bottom of the page to try searching for something else that is relevant to the database. You may also click your browser’s Back button at the top left to return to the site page and reuse its search tool. If you did an ‘Exact Phrase’ search, then try an ‘All Words’ search. If you did an ‘All Words’ search, try an ‘Any Word’ search. These alternatives will give you some results, even if their relevance cannot be guaranteed.
