This page discusses the shopping procedure, problems, and solutions you will need to grasp to prepare you for dealing with order placement on this site.

 

After fully investigating a product (and, in the case of ClickBank, checking out the product’s author, supplier, or provider for the responsiveness of its Customer Service), you finally decide that it is time to order the product. You must follow this procedure:

 

  1. ClickBank. Click the order link on the product page on this site (for some products, click the product’s keyword-link to take you to CBTopSides, click the specific product you want on that site to open its sales page, and then scroll towards the end of the page and click the order or add-to-cart link). This opens ClickBank’s ordering and payment processing page. You can find ClickBank’s logo and brand name displayed prominently on that page. Fill in your personal and payment details and click the submit button to complete your payment. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can pay by credit card, debit card, and PayPal. Once your payment is received you’ll be redirected to the Thank You page of the author, supplier, or provider. There you can download the product. You will receive an email from the author, supplier, or provider as well as from ClickBank. Keep these emails safe, especially ClickBank’s email (which is your receipt) - it contains the order number you’ll need if you want to make queries to ClickBank. Without this order number you cannot get to ClickBank!
  2. Ebay. Use the eBay search tool on this site to find products on eBay. Follow the detailed instructions and help facility on eBay to show you how to place bids for or buy specific products. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete orders. You can login at any time to track your order until it arrives.
  3. SiteSell. Click the order link on the product review page on this site. This opens the product’s sales page. You can find SiteSell’s logo and brand name displayed prominently on that page. Scroll to the end of the page to find SiteSell’s ordering and payment processing facility. Fill in your personal and payment details and click the submit button to complete your payment. Follow the on-screen instructions. You can pay by credit card, debit card, and PayPal. Once your payment is received you’ll be redirected to SiteSell’s  Thank You page and you’ll receive an email containing your login details for accessing the product.
  4. Amazon. Use the Amazon search tool on this site to find products on Amazon. You’ll find that most products contain ratings (indicated by stars) and customer reviews. A five-starred product is a top-rated product. You’ll want to use these ratings and reviews to guide you in your search for quality products. When you decide to buy a product, simply add it to the purchase basket. Then proceed to investigate and add more products. When you are done, click the check-out button. Register or login, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your order. You may also check out the detailed instructions and help facility on Amazon to show you how to place orders. You’ll receive an email from Amazon containing your order details. You can login at any time to track your order until it arrives.

 

There are a number of problems that you may encounter with order placement. These problems are as follows:

 

  1. ClickBank and SiteSell. These companies provide information products, that are downloadable. You may experience connection problems or hiccups that interrupt the ordering process and stop it from completing smoothly in a single attempt. Then when you restart the process, and finally are able to complete the process and download the product or access the purchased online service, you may discover later on that you have been charged twice or multiple times for the same single purchase. When this happens, cool down. There is a solution. First, note that during a transaction, as long as you’ve gone past the stage where you’ve supplied your contact and payment details, and your payment has been received, you’ll get an email waiting for you on your email software. If the item you want is a downloadable item then this email will contain a link for downloading the item. If it is a membership resource site, or online service, you’re buying the email will contain your login details for accessing the facility. This means that when you are making a purchase, and there are problems, don’t panic and don’t repeat the transaction without first checking your email inbox. If you repeat the transaction while an email receipt has already been sent to you, you’ll be charged twice or as many times as you re-transact. In any case, if you are charged more than once for the same purchase (unless you are buying more than one copy) you can get the overcharge refunded simply by contacting ClickBank or SiteSell. You’ll need your order number to do so.
  2. Ebay and Amazon. If a transaction is interrupted you can always login and restart it, without being charged multiple times. However, check your email inbox to ensure that an email is not already waiting for you. If it is then it is likely that your payment has been received and your order details logged. It is therefore not necessary to re-order. In any case, if you are charged multiple times for the same order, because you inadvertently re-ordered, you can cancel the re-orders and get your money refunded.

 

You will notice that the solutions to all transaction problems (especially those dealing with ClickBank and SiteSell information products) are critically dependent on you providing an accurate and reliable email address during the order entry. Failure to provide such an address, or providing an inaccessible or incorrect address, means that you’ll miss out on all the emails that are sent to you after purchase.

 

These emails are critical to resolving any ordering or transaction problems that you may encounter. So you will make life really bad for yourself if you find that you have a problem to report and yet cannot find the transaction emails because you submitted an unreliable email address. We cannot take responsibility for such errors, and your inability to contact ClickBank or SiteSell means that you will lose your hard-earned money! So you must ensure that you submit a reliable and accessible email address when you order.

 

There is one solution to this problem. Be sure to print and store safely the receipt page that appears after you complete a ClickBank or SiteSell transaction. This page will contain all the information you need for contacting ClickBank or SiteSell. This solution, however, doesn’t help you if you can’t reach the end of a transaction to allow this page to be displayed - i.e. if your transaction is interrupted by a connection problem. So your best protection is to supply a reliable email address.

While the latter have detailed knowledge of their products, ClickBank has detailed knowledge of transaction processing and will thus be in the best position to help you.
